Product Description

Albacore tuna has dense, sweet meat that shines in a variety of preparations. It’s mild and tender when served raw or rare, and has a pronounced flavor and firm flake once cooked. Our albacore tuna are caught one by one with pole and line fishing gear and frozen at very low temperatures to ensure they are sashimi grade — perfect for your favorite poke, sushi, or sashimi. We also love our albacore tuna seared rare and served with flavorful olive oil–based sauces or poached in olive oil then flaked into salads. Portions are 6 to 12 ounces, vacuum-sealed, and boneless.

Delivery Details

  • You'll have the opportunity to select your shipping week at checkout. Otherwise, orders placed by 11:59pm CT on Saturdays will ship the following week. You can also elect to ship it with your next subscription box delivery to save on packaging and fuel use. All orders are packed in environmentally responsible insulation, recyclable packaging, and on dry ice.

  • What are one-time boxes?

    One-time boxes are 4-5 lb boxes of seafood that we make available to our members as a special perk of their membership. The seafood we offer as a one-time box may be from a fishery in a different part of the country (think Maine scallops!) or a special cut of seafood we already source (think halibut cheeks or king salmon collars). It may be a value-added seafood product we've created, like our Grill-Ready Salmon Burgers, or smoked sablefish. Lastly, it might be some of the species we include in our subscriptions in cases where we have a surplus of delicious premium quality seafood after our subscription boxes are packed.

  • Do members get a discount on one-time boxes?

    Yes! All of our members receive a 10% discount on one-time boxes. Simply log in to your member account before checkout to have your discount automatically applied.

  • Can I just order one type of seafood?

    We often offer a single species in our one-time boxes, in addition to mixed species boxes. We are not currently customizing any one-time boxes.

  • Can I add a personalized gift message for my recipient?

    Yes! During checkout you will be asked if you want to leave a gift message for your recipient. One week before delivery, we will send your gift recipient an email with delivery information and your gift message.

  • What are the denominations of your Digital Gift Cards?

    We offer digital gift cards for $50, $100, $150, or $250.
