Yes! During checkout you will be asked if you want to leave a gift message for your recipient. One week before delivery, we will send your gift recipient an email with delivery information and your gift message.

The product details above list all of the species that your gift recipient may receive over the course of their subscription. We also share our projected harvest three months in advance, which you can also explore above. Lastly, for all gift subscriptions of more than one box, we will send an email to your gift recipient three weeks before their box is delivered to share the contents and give them the opportunity to skip the box. If they elect to skip it, they will automatically be signed up to receive the next box, ensuring they receive all 3, 6, or 12 boxes you gifted them!

Once purchased, the first subscription box will be delivered to your gift recipient within 2-3 weeks. They will receive an email with tracking information from UPS once it's shipped so they know exactly when to expect it, as well as an email upon delivery. The seafood will be packed in a box with plenty of dry ice to keep it frozen solid until your gift recipient is able to bring it inside!

Your gift recipient will receive an email with delivery information one week before their first box is delivered. At that point, they can contact us to change their delivery date if needed! They can also do so within their member account if they set one up.

Our fish fillets are between 6 and 12 ounces. To maximize our use of the wild resource, all members will receive a mix of center and tail pieces. Our fillets are vacuum-sealed, our shellfish is glazed and packed in bags. Learn more on our Packaging Disposal Guide.

Yes, please do! All of our seafood is sushi grade / sashimi grade and be enjoyed raw or rare. The on-boat processing and individual handling of all of our fish ensure the quality demanded by any raw preparation. More important—safety-wise, anyway—our fish are frozen at very low temperatures, which ensures they are safe to eat raw. The FDA’s stance is still that consuming undercooked meat, poultry, and seafood products may increase the risk of foodborne illness.
